Praise be to God, our earthly lover, Mr. Muhammad Ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. We had previously presented to you the discussion regarding a quarter of the land next to Arsah for the trustworthy, and we inquired about how to work on that, but we did not explain that to you. The discussion took place today with our Lord, may God grant him victory. What is meant by that is that he will find someone who works the rent in it, and all that he needs to pay will be on it, and he will not be given the side of our master in that. Yes, if he needs animals for plowing, he will be assisted with them and nothing else, and he will have what he produces. There is a part that is agreed upon with him, as for a third, a quarter, or something like that. If someone appears to you who does that from the people of Tuat, the people of Fez, or others, let us know. Even if someone appears who works or wants to go to it so that he can look at the country and know what is best for him in it, direct him until he sees that. Peace be upon him.
