Notes
Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then the bearer who was standing at Azib Bir al-Wadini informed you that Athur had given you three rakas that were not sufficient for anything, and six pairs that went to the two happy sons. May God protect them for plowing in Ain Bu Murshid. He stated that his sitting at Azib Bir al-Wadini was useless. Accordingly, if you have a purpose for him to plow in the mentioned place, then we will prepare him for the husbands, and if that is not the case, then It depends on him, for he asked the aforementioned single man to travel, to go on his own way, to enjoy himself, to see you more broadly, and to love and peace, and on the first of Shaban in the year 1285, and the summer of high status, in God’s name, my relief.
