The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who made hadith one of the characteristics of this nation, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet of Mercy, and upon his family and companions, the exemplary and guided Imams. As for what follows, these are footnotes from the words of our master and master, the knowledgeable Imam, the imam of hadith in his time, Sidi Abd al-Qadir bin Ali al-Fassi (...) recorded from him by his son, the wretched servant seeking forgiveness, Abd al-Rahman, may God grant him success in the Sahih al-Bukhari council, from what he heard from him, with a manner of expression and casting of questions and answers in the form of news in order to seek revision. The summary is, “And God is the Grantor and Helper, and there is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.” His saying: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?
The end of the manuscript: He met the believer with it in the hadith, his saying “al-Tasbad”, meaning shaving the hair of the head. Al-Nawawi said, “If it is a hair cut, then it is not said to leave it, and it is not to leave a right to falsehood, and what they have singled out for (...) and in the hadith, whoever has an abundance, let him honor it or remove it, so he permitted its permissibility. And what Ali, may God be pleased with him, used to do is shaving, or what is meant by “al-Tasbad” is exaggeration in shaving. He said two words with which he sealed to be blessed by them due to their great value, and he made them the last of his words for the occasion of the seal. The footnote ended with praise to God (...) on Wednesday afternoon, which is the last day of Muharram Al-Haram, the opener of the year two hundred and one thousand and sixty-five of the Hijra, for those who have glory and honor, may God bless him and his family every day a thousand and a thousand.
