Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon Muhammad, our master, and replace our father, the earthly leader, the most happy Pasha, the jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you and take care of you, and may the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. After your dearest letter has reached us, including the directive of Hamman Idris, he is under arrest. Let him know, my master, that whoever God leads astray, and our face is in the company of a just man, he is very ill. He can get up, and now our Master’s vision is wider in his eyes. May God bless you and grant us true peace. I sent him back to his home, and on the 8th of Jumada 1, 1282, Sheikh Ham Belaid Al-Amari.
