Praise be to God, the servant of our earthly master, Mr. Muhammad bin Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our master, may God grant him victory. As for what follows, we have reached the letter of the good master at your hands to search for a soldier named Si Idris, who is called the family of Meknes, among their brothers. We searched for that. Mr. Abdullah bin Ahmed and Mr. Abdul Wahhab are present at the contracting, and the caravan of the carpenter is watching, and the kanash is calling so-and-so, then so-and-so, to the end of the military, and we did not find that soldier, and our concern was the aforementioned contracting. They mentioned that they told others. The one whose name is written in the books and who bears it whenever they say and call upon him, for he is a leader and a disgrace, and for service and peace. On the 29th of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 1276 Omar bin Muhammad Al-Susi, may God grant him success.
