The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) and by the jurist (...) Abu Al-Abbas Sidi Ahmad Al-Buy Al-Buyqoubi, known as Al-Mallawi (...) A chapter stipulating that the slaughterer must be discerning in permissible marriage to his wives, and it is permissible to slaughter a woman and a discerning boy, even if it is not necessary, without compulsion, according to the Mudawwana doctrine.
The end of the manuscript: The same goes for the animal that is growing and everything whose life is not long, so consider these branches, for they fall into many for those living in the desert, and God knows best. There is no Lord other than Him and there is no deity other than Him. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master and Lord Muhammad and his family and companions and grant him abundant peace.
