Notes Praise be to God alone              And may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our love in place of the father, the servant of our Lord, and the servant of our earthly Lord, the Pasha, the Commander, Sayyed Muhammad bin Talib (amter). May the peace and mercy of God be upon you for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. Then the letter will be returned to you from the arrest of the Tangiers who fled. The first among them is Hajj Ahmad (amter), Al-Jilali bin Al-Mahjoub, and the Fatimi, the son of Abulbal. The holder and the bearer are raised, knowing them with blessings, love, and peace, and on the 25th of Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 1277.
