Notes Praise be to God for the wages of two builders 2/148, a maker 24, and a service 9/182, including 4 to load the knots taken out of the lighthouse, two carpenters 140, 2 plasterers, 112, two kneaders 46, the eighth of two pages, a sheet of paper, four 4 sheets of kerosene oil, a piece of lining, 2 pieces of wood, threads for 4, and two drains 46, all, all, to repair the Al-Qarawiyyin lighthouse and polish it. A jamrah, seven minarets, a marker for polishing the aforementioned jamur, and a green brick in the middle. Eighty-four mithqals and eight uqiyahs were collected. The two overseers brought out a dome over a camel. They were charged by the high side, God, with the guardianship of the overseers at that time, to make it with the price of accommodation on their day in accordance with the noble and obedient command. God named it on the eighth of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1316.
