Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family. May God preserve the position of our class and the conclusion and bring us to the imprisonment of the jurist of the people of the metaphor, the distinguished jurist, the learned scholar, the noble writer, Sir Muhammad ibn al-Mawaz. Peace be upon your sovereignty and the mercy of God Almighty. And then, let it be in your honor that a man appeared in front of our mosque whose name is Sayyid al-Tuhami ibn al-Baranusi al-Zarhuni. He was imprisoned in a false lawsuit that has no basis in our knowledge. So we ask your sovereignty to come down. The effort in discharging him is more deserving of helping the one who came to us or had a relationship with us. May God perpetuate for us our happiness, your glory, and your sincere affection. Peace be upon you on the 4th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1280.
