Praise be to God alone May God’s blessings be upon our Lord Muhammad and his family and companions, our beloved and dearest thing we have, the prophetic jurist, Sayyid Abdul Wahid bin Al-Mawaz, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God support him. And the honorable, my master, Al-Hassan bin Al-Mahdi, the captain of the honorable people with an ax. We have many among the honorable people arrested there, asking us to intercede for them before you. I answered him, telling me whether their matter had reached our master, may God grant him victory, but his answer did not help me with any of that. I asked him for it and what he wanted to intercede with you, so I promised him that I would write to you that I am an intercessor on the condition that their matter does not reach our Lord Al-Mansour. I submitted this so that you would be mindful of our letter that has reached you, in order to avoid adding anything to it that I am not the author of. Thus, I must inform you, and with your love and peace. Ali bin Al-Mutawakkil.
