Praise be to God, the eminent jurist, the most learned scholar, the most complete scholar, the representative of the learned scholar, the wise investigator, the judge of the group in Maknasa Al-Zaytoun and its environs until his absence, and God Almighty has honored him and may God protect him. To Sheikh Al-Makki Al-Qulay’i, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. The bearer, Abd al-Rahman al-Suhaymi, mentioned that he had summoned his opponent, al-Jilani bin al-Tahira, to the Sharia Council, and he had waited a long time for him to reach his destination so that the decision between them would take place according to the Sharia law and peace on the 20th of Jumada al-Awwal. 1283
