Notes
Praise be to God and to our beloved, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, peace and God’s mercy be upon the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then the masters of sight paid for them a reward of five or forty mithqals, and for al-Makhzani five mithqals, twenty easy mithqals. We paid it to them and they returned it to us and we ordered them to wait until we paid them all forty mithqals. And on love and peace, 17 Safar in the year 1280. The summer of high status in God, Farji, praise be to God. Earthly love, the love that guides my vulva, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. So, the masters of sight, as you directed us to them and required knowledge in them, we chose them from those who are considered, and we directed them, and they stopped at the preparation, so I gave them permission to bring it, and they came and fulfilled their purpose perfectly, and when salvation came to them, it was not according to their work and hardship, and someone like you whom we make clear does not alert, and you are insightful and do not need a reminder, and on love and peace on the 16th of Safar in the year 1280 Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect you
