The beginning of the verse: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God, the Provider of sustenance and lifespan, and may blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his companions and family. This is a part in which I selected what was reported in the news of the plague, and I summarized it from “Dhud al-Ma’un” by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Hajar, so I brought what was intended and refined the chains of transmission and what was mentioned as a matter of digression, and God Almighty grants success.
End of the manuscript: Come, let us seek help from God Almighty (...) Oh God, we call upon you with the best of what the supplicators have called upon you, to protect us from the epidemic and the plague (...) and if you disobey us, you are our account and the best disposer of affairs. Continue by praising God for the correction and distortion in it until God facilitates a copy for correction.
