Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After he directed to our Lord Abbas, the son of our holy Lord, may God protect him, six mules spent the night with him along with the donkey, so that he could carry some of the needs for Meknes on them. May love and peace be upon you. On the 21st of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1280, the summer of high status, in God, my relief.
