Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family. May God protect him with his grace and cover the position of our master, the most glorious jurist, the most honorable leader, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord Al-Mansour, by God. And after my master, I have received the honorable letter of your dearest book regarding the affair of the exchange with debtors. Know that my master has sold his country to some of the Banu Ammar, and they paid him the part of this that he covered before, and the rest is still with them. And none of them are more resourceful than one of them, my brother, Ham Belaid. And now, sir, here is our face to you. May God bless you in God’s safety and protection. We love you, sir. Forgive him with the debtors. Time is difficult, as you know, and it kills a party.
