Notes: The book had another lithograph edition at the New Press, 1312 AH/1894 AD, in 160 pages (Dictionary of Moroccan Publications / Ibn al-Mahi al-Idrisi, p. 64). At the end of the book, the phrase “...corrected by the proofreader (...) Muhammad al-Tuhami ibn al-Madani Kannoun (…) is under the guardianship of his son, the brilliant student Abu al-Abbas Sidi Ahmad, and it was directly printed by the teacher of the printing house, al-Hajj al-Tayyib ibn Muhammad al-Azraq...” I understood from it that Abu al-Abbas Ahmad is the son of the proofreader Muhammad al-Tuhami ibn al-Madani Kannoun, and he was the one who printed the book at his expense. |
