The beginning of the manuscript: Our knowledgeable sheikh, Abu Muhammad Abd al-Rahman bin Muhammad al-Fassi, commented on Khalil’s summary from the door of imprisonment, which reads: I do not know of a document for that fatwa, and perhaps it is an ijtihad regarding that calamity, so do not exceed it for what followed it, as will come in the judiciary, and God knows best.
End of the manuscript: God is the One who encompasses intentions and what is hidden in the folds, may God forgive everyone. He ended it with the word (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the handwriting of his author (...) was completed on the sixth Thursday of the month of God, Rajab, in the year two hundred and twenty-five.
