Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our beloved and vizier, our master, the place of sovereignty, exaltation, majesty, and awe of the honorable morals and virtues of the noble jurist, the most glorious, the truthful, the happiest, the master of goodness. May God protect you and peace be upon you and may God’s mercy be upon you for the best of our master. May God support him, grant him victory, and perpetuate his honor and protection. We love you to see the face of God and the Messenger upon us. For us, just as he was kind to our late father and generous to us with what God bestowed on his generous hands. And now, sir, we and our children are extremely poor and we have very little in our hands (amputation). We have only God and our Lord Al-Mansour, may God bless us with His glory and protection. We intended God and we intended for you to help us. May God help you to obey Him and work for God. May God benefit you with the love of the Messenger, peace be upon him, and make you among the winners for the sake of the honorable Prophet and peace be upon him. Muhammad bin Omar bin Yazid, may God be pleased with him. Praise be to him. To God, our earthly lover, Mr. Muhammad Ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. Following the order of our Lord, may God support him, he ordered the trustees to pay five mithqals to the Sharif who had the card above, and he ordered the Mahri trustees to pay him four measures of wheat and peace on the 20th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1277 Al-Tayeb bin Al-Yamani.
