Notes
The beginning of the manuscript: explaining his argument, explaining his evidence and his family and companions (...) and the stars of his example and beyond. This is a restriction that includes, God willing, what he needs in terms of explaining the evidence that was included in the clarification of the conclusion by Imam Jamal al-Din bin Hisham. I recorded a copy of it as an aid to those who wished to do so with good ease (...) and I called it Takmil Al-Maram to explain the evidence of Ibn Hisham.
The end of the manuscript: “Eating a ram, you think you are a man *** and a fire that is lit at night is a fire.” Al-Bayt is from Al-Taqarab, and it is by Abu Dawud Haritha bin Al-Hajjaj, and the meaning is, “For every man you think is a man, and every fire you think is a fire.” Meaning, not everyone who has the image of a man is a perfect man (...). And the evidence in his saying, “and fire,” that is, and every fire, so he deleted the genitive and the genitive remained as it was due to its conjunction with the genitive.
