Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, our earthly lover and servant of our master, al-Murtada, the leader, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God protect you and take care of you. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. The bearer of it, Mr. Ali bin Fadul, the security of our brothers. He had bought a servant for the sake of those imprisoned among them from the people of Fez. Sharif al-Baqali was received by Sidi Abd al-Salam al-Bakali and he said “Allah is great” to the guardian. The buyer directed us to the one who told him. Your honor, we must love you to handle their affairs so that each person who has a right receives his right upon a legal obligation, a decree in his hand, drawing up a certificate of sale, and we are brothers, and for serving our master are our helpers, and with love and peace on the first of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1285 servant of the high and pure position, may God grant him success.
