Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our dearest earthly lover and the servant of our master al-Murtada, the noble leader, the student, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God grant you peace, peace, and the mercy and blessings of God Almighty for the goodness of our master, may God support him and grant him victory. Then, the teacher al-Qawadisi whom you wrote directed the order of our master al-Mansur, with the intention of determining the reform of Tangier according to what our master had ordered, may God support him. When He arrived in Tangier and we did not find in him the purpose that our master, may God bless him, had ordered. Then after that he fell ill and the situation required that he be directed to his place and ask for someone else who was fit for the purpose that our Lord, may God grant him victory, ordered. Here he has gone to his place, so we ask you to replace him with someone else so that he may fulfill the honorable purpose, for the night the service will be invalidated.
