The beginning of the manuscript: Sheikh Sidi Ahmed bin Muhammad said (...) Praise be to God alone for the one who sold a property shared between him and his two brothers, and they did not sell, nor did they appoint him to sell it. Then, when they reached them, they went to the buyer, demanding their share.
End of the manuscript: Then they did not plow that year, or they plowed and did not reap anything because the year was barren. Do they have to deal with that rent or not? He, may God be pleased with him, replied, “The equivalent fee is given to the person mentioned.”
