Notes	Praise be to God, in the place of the dearest and trustworthy brother, Mr. Hajj Omar Al-Tazi, may God protect him and take care of you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the good of our master, may God grant him victory. Here is a record of what happened in the back of his history according to what our Lord, may God honor him, commanded us to do, an explanation of what he endured in loading the scum and rubbish and leveling some of the stones with the sand and service contract, and the rent for the donkeys, the sackcloths, the dirt, and the chamfers for finishing the upper Fez alleys, by entering the fee that our Lord appointed. May God support him and reward him with twenty-two hundred mithqals, sixty-five mithqals, and two ounces, and peace be upon him at the end of Muharram in the year 1320.
