The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) The Sheikh, the jurist (...) Abu Al-Qasim Ibn Jazi Al-Kalbi, may God have mercy on him, said in his jurisprudential book “Laws of Sharia Rulings”: Know that the disappearance of the glans, just as it requires washing, requires punishment for adultery (...) and invalidates obligatory and voluntary fasting, requires expiation in Ramadan, obliges the man to make expiation for the woman if he forces her, and spoils the sequence of fasting in the expiations.
End of the manuscript: That is fifty rulings. He finished the book of laws by Imam Ibn Jazi, may God Almighty have mercy on him and be pleased with him, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master, prophet, and master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
