Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our dearest earthly lover, and the successor of our Lord Al-Ahda, the jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after your dearest answer came to us and informed us, and on our heads we raised it and understood it, including what happened to the honorable and good Lord, Moulay Ali Al-Sufi, regarding the money that was lost to him, so we ask God to establish the truth, Glory be to Him, and now we have searched for the perpetrator. The people of the caravan who came from Tafilalat told us that they met with them yesterday at noon in Hauz Safar on the road with three men from Qasidq Tafilalat, and this is what we must inform you of, and with your love and peace, on the 8th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1290 Haj Ahmed bin Wa Aziz, may God protect him.
