Praise be to God alone. May the peace and blessings of God be upon our master Muhammad and his family, the successor of our earthly master, the jurist, the Murtada, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our master, may God grant him victory. We have received your dearest letter on the matter of Raqqas. It arrives in your presence in the upper room so that the owner of his call may discuss his crops. Your companion found him with an olive broom, quarreling over his father’s servant. When he came, we ordered him to come to his opponent. And now we inform you, oh My lord, may God help you, and the sheep he got from his tillage, except for eleven talbis, which he paid to the masters of the debt. His arrival with something in general is what is intended, and the master of the religion claims that he came and did not see him there. Rather, he paid some of those to his masters, then he returned immediately to see what he deserved from him (amputation). You must now, and when he sells what he wanted to sell, he presents as much as possible to meet his opponent, and for your love and service. Peace be upon your servant, Al-Tuhamy bin Abdullah, may God be his guardian and master.
