May God help you and take care of you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After your letter arrived with the pregnant woman, you mentioned that the residence in which we had built the House of Covetousness would be completely confirmed, so that nothing of it would be lost. Know that we have written about this to the Secretary of the House of Covetousness, so that he may protect you in our house now. It will go crazy until we send someone to bring it to us, and it will come to you, with God’s power and strength, protected by not taking anything from it. We are at his honorable command, and with love and peace, in Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1280.
