The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings be upon our master (...) Abd Rabbo, Glory be to Him, says Al-Hasan Ibn Rahal Al-Maadani, may God be kind to him, Amen. Praise be to God, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. Ibn Rushd said in his introductions that the principle regarding artisans is that they have no guarantee and that they are entrusted.
The end of the manuscript: Peace be upon everyone who looked at it with fairness and compassion for the religion of Muslims, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace (...) It ended with praise to God Almighty and His good help and beautiful success. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master, Prophet, and Master Muhammad, the Noble Prophet, the Chosen One, and upon his family and companions, and grant him abundant peace until the Day of Judgment. Our last supplication is that praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
