Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our earthly lover and servant of our master Al-Murtada, the jurist, the leader, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect you and take care of you, and may God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you in the presence of our Lord, may God support him. As for what follows, the pilgrim who complained against you that they had robbed him of a mule in the country of Ayat Yussi. I know when I received the word about that from my successor, Muhammad, and more. I arrested some of my brothers. The companions of the call are in prison under my hand until they bring the animal, and I do not have any support for your need or at your side. We are our helpers in love and service. Peace be upon you. On the 24th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1279 servant of the high station in God, Muhammad al-Masoudi, may God grant him success.
