Praise be to God who chose people to carry the burdens of His law and honored them with knowledge and bestowed upon them honor, reverence and respect (...) And then, among those whom God Almighty has bestowed upon His servant wading in the sea of sins, who continues to retreat to his desires and is diligent in them, using the breathtaking journey to Fez (...) until I sat in the circle of our sheikh and our mediator (...) Sidi Abdul Qadir bin Shaqroun So I read to him verbally, without an intermediary (...) with complete, comprehensive, and general approval in all the knowledge I heard from him. The end of the manuscript: Urging him to fear God Almighty in learning and teaching, to avoid supplications and to go against his own desires, and to be truthful in what he says, may God make all that is hoped for (...) and God will reward us and him for what He loves and is pleased with, Amen (...) and he wrote it on the 8th of Dhul-Qi’dah 1208 Ajla Abd al-Qadir bin Ahmad bin al-Arabi Ibn Shaqroun.
