The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, the one who disposed before the causes of conjugation, recognized before the definite article, who compiled things the best in composing things, and carried the responsibility of mankind (...) so God enabled me, and praise be to Him, to explain the Lamaic poem called the structures of verbs in the science of conjugation by Imam Jamal al-Din Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Malik, may God Almighty have mercy on him, so I controlled its words, opened its meanings, analyzed its problem, multiplied its examples, and pointed out its many meanings.
The end of the manuscript: And to facilitate for me a striving in which I may be *** rejoicing, secure, with ease and majesty. What is meant by striving is good deeds in the rest of his life that necessitates rejoicing, according to the Almighty’s saying: “Her striving is satisfied” (...) and the bright, bleak face and the fearful fear.
