Notes Praise be to God, love, the jurist, the long term, the good, the most noble, the best, Sir Muhammad Gharit. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, the bearer is the brother of the woman arrested in the ass’ bed. He wanted to release her, seeking God’s pleasure. Otherwise, she is in poverty. We worked with him. He pays the servant fifteen mithqals because, as we have reported, she is the daughter of Kharif. This is as much as I think she is worth. We love you, may God bless you, and you will be the best helper in releasing this weak woman. Our loyalists are more compassionate than us about the subjects and describe them as God’s guards. The matter with them is that they should be determined, and we and you will be equally rewarded, and for love and peace, on the 28th of Safar in the year 1280. Idris al-Sarraj, may God grant him peace, and may peace be upon our lover, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. And after the command of our master the Caliph, may God protect him, take the fifteen mithqals that I mentioned above and direct them to us and release the woman. And for love and peace, Muhammad Gharit, may God be kind to him.
