Your Excellency the Galilee President, what a beautiful day this is when the city of Casablanca is honored to receive you auspiciously, and I have the utmost honor to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations, on my own behalf and on behalf of everyone else, while conveying everyone’s thanks for this visit with which Your Excellency renewed another proof of your care for this honorable country indebted to the state of France, which is glorified for its renaissance and advancement on the paths of progress and the city, in accordance with what the State of France has undertaken to undertake. We will lift it out of the abyss of idleness and lowliness, and you will be pleased with His Excellency the President. Yourself are signs that point to the useful reform that the noble French people have undertaken, and the palaces that have been built for science, for the culture of ideas, for medicine of souls, for the medicine of the body, and for the purpose of facilitating the Muslims, because they are the front and center of the circle of urbanization. As for other reforms that do not sell the place, they are counted, and you will see, Your Excellency Al-Rashid, that this is the foundation laid by the representatives of your noble state, the great general, His Excellency the Marshal. Lyautey, His Excellency the Minister, Monsieur Setek, and His Excellency, the good Minister, Mr. Lucien Saint, has begun to grow, and its beginnings have come to an end. To them we extend our gratitude to the great men like them, and we renew our thanks to His Excellency the Resident Minister, Monsieur Saint, who through his pursuit of the happy Morocco became on a lively path and had a sharp direction, and knew how to meet the love of a magnificent state, so he was honored by him from a person who agreed to respect and consider him.
