Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our dearest and most earthly lover, the long-term student, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, may God protect you, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, I have sent you several books regarding the money of Omar al-Khatib, Haj Ahmed Ghazi, and our brother-in-law, Sidi Muhammad al-Dabbagh, and we have not received your answer to one of them. May God make the obstacle good. You will receive a book enclosed herewith that we would like you to give to our brother, Sidi Omar. May God bless you with love and peace on the 20th of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 1280. Abdul Qadir, may God be with him.
