Praise be to God for the supervisor of the Qarawiyyin and the mosques and schools that were added to it at that time. By paying the Nazir to imprison Maulana Idris as an obligation to them, and for the rest of the period they would perform a meal every month and the next, not in their hands, without the burden of duty, and by heart and contentment, they knew its value, and it was witnessed by them in its entirety, and by their knowledge, and the Nazir’s uprightness, and on the blessed ten of Sha’ban in the year eighty and two hundred thousandths, the request was valid.
