The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. As for what follows, the poor servant says to God Almighty, Muhammad Al-Saeedi, known as the dervish Ibn Al-Ghouth Al-Samadani and the divine temple, my master Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, may God Almighty be pleased with him and with us. The honorable mayor, Sheikh Hajj Abdul Qadir, called Ibn Abdullah bin Al-Sheikh Mustafa bin Al-Sheikh Abi Abi Muhammad, Sidi Abdul Qadir bin Abdullah Al-Musharrafi Al-Gharisi, has met with us. Al-Hasani Al-Maghribi, and we taught him the sayings of our aforementioned grandfather and sheikh, and we authorized him to teach them to whomever asked them from him and deemed him worthy of that. We also received that from our sheikh and our cousin, Sir Sheikh Abd al-Rahman. He also received it from his sheikh and his cousin, the Most High, the Most Majid, the Most Benefic, Sir Ali, and he received that from his sheikh and brother who knows God Almighty, Sir Mahmoud. He received that from his sheikh and uncle, the clear pole, Fayd Allah, and he was taught that. From his sheikh, Al-Majid Al-Af'a, Sidi Ali, he received it from his father, Sidi Faraj Allah, and he received it from his father, Sidi Abdel Qader.
The end of the manuscript: There is no god but God alone, with no partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him is praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is capable of everything. Glory be to God the Great, Glory be to God and praise be to Him a hundred times, and there is no power or strength except in God, the Most High, the Great. O God, bless our master Muhammad, your servant, your Prophet, and your Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and companions, and grant him peace. Indeed, We sent it down eleven times, Al-Wahhab Al-Fattah ten hundred times, and the word “Shahada” one hundred and sixty-six times, and His name, the Most High, the Most Subtle. One hundred and twenty-nine times. I finish.
