Notes	Praise be to God, our beloved earthly jurist, Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After commissioning the trustees to reveal the reins of Sayer’s funeral of the aforementioned honorable person, Hajj Abd al-Qadir Ash’ash, the secretary of our master, Sayerha, from his honorable command, he must direct the reins with resolve and love and peace on the 9th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1282. My hope, praise be to God and peace be upon you, with the presence of our Lord the Imam. And after the event of the funeral, we made it the event, then inform us of what he mentioned to us, and now if it appears to you, he will come and fill it with the inner kenash. With God’s blessing and peace, the trustees of Fez and from him, and if what he mentioned appears, let us know. We will advise you of it. Rather, this statement will come to you with the company of this and the owner of the wages with whom the grave was paid. To this day, he has not received his price. Praise be to God alone, in the place of our father, the Pasha, the Commander, Sir, my Faraj. Peace be upon you. And God's mercy, with the presence of our master, may God grant him victory. And after my master, the day of Wednesday has become difficult for us due to the fact that the funeral of my lord did not come. We ask you to write for us to the secretaries, directing us the reins of the funeral procession, so that we may repent of us in the daily paper and repent of what happened to it. It is necessary, sir, to address us to the aforementioned saint. Peace be upon your son, Abdul Qadir Ashash, may God’s kindness be upon him.
