Praise be to God, the wages for two jars 92, a service of 4/80, carpenters 134, a learner and four uqiyas 4, a nail, an iron, two earths, and a drain 28, together with what was opposite it 0343, and to it is added the price of fifty green bricks and its load and lime for five quintals and loads of sand ten and a hundred of wages and its loads with lime, all for repairing the wall of the villagers’ retreat on the side of the street and repairing its dignity. What is borne from the above-mentioned cash, other than the residence, is thirty-four mithqals and three uqiyas, which were brought out by the two eminent overseers, Mr. Hajj Ahmad al-Sharat and Sir Muhammad al-Mufaddal al-Sarraj, who were in charge of the horses of our Lord, supported by God, to the overseers of al-Qarwain at the time, to give it into the hand of the one who was responsible for it, Sir Muhammad ibn al-Habib al-Balgami, and to receive it in their day with the price of the residence above, in accordance with the honorable command. God named him on the sixth of Rabi’ al-Nabawi in the year 1316.
