Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, his family and companions, and upon the beloved Asaad and the servant of our Master the Most Guided Basha, Sidi Muhammad bin Talib. May God grant us success and you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our Master, the supporter of God. And here we are, directing to you the jurist Sidi Ahmed bin the jurist Al-Baraka, the scholar and scholar, Mr. Muhammad bin Abd al-Salam al-Sanhaji al-Hadiwi, the debtor who lives in Fez, keen on every harm. So, arrest them until he redresses his rights from them, because they plundered two mules from him along with what they owed on the basis of injustice and transgression due to their acknowledgment of that, and some of them gave what they plundered to him, and where he redresses among them, he releases them. We have delegated to you their affairs due to their corruption and the large number of grievances against them, and God must rectify our condition and yours, and peace be upon the 15th of Safar in the year 1275.
