The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) He said (...) Abu Abdullah Sidi Muhammad bin (...) Ibrahim bin Abbad Al-Randi (...) Praise be to God, the One, One, the Only, the Eternal (...) As for what follows, supplication is worship, or by it you will attain the utmost happiness in the two worlds (...) Our scholars, may God be pleased with them, have mentioned innumerable ways of supplication, and among them is the supplication of the Most Beautiful Names. God Almighty said, “And to Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them.”
End of the manuscript: I did not dare to circumvent this law nor to mention a word on this matter, and God Almighty is the Grantor of success, forgiveness, and transcendence of what we have issued in this regard. There is no power nor strength except with God, the Most High, the Great.
