Praise be to God, the superintendent of Al-Qarawiyyin and other mosques and schools at that time, the student, the writer, the Muhtasib Al-Afdal, Sidi Al-Mufaddal, the son of the jurist, Al-Baraka, the late Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj Al-Andalusi, and the trustworthy, earthly student, Sidi Hajj Ahmed bin, the trustworthy merchant, the late Sidi Al-Hajj Al-Arabi Al-Sharat, bear witness that they obtained from the student, the long-term holder, Sidi Al-Mukhtar Bouhlal, on behalf of the honorable Al-Afdal, Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Sharif, the late Sidi Muhammad bin Sidi Ahmed Al-Iraqi Al-Hasani, all twenty riyals from a deposit he received for his deputy. Among the endowments of the aforementioned imprisonment are complete possession of two eyes and a bardah, and whoever must be released from their aforementioned possession, and a complete person who knows his worth, and in full their custom and erection, and on the ninth of Qa’dah Haram in the year 1314, Abd Rabbo.
