Praise be to God, my dearest brother, the earthly jurist, the most honorable jurist, my favorite sir, Al-Sarraj. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. We have already received your letter regarding what you requested for blessings regarding the birth of the son, Sir Al-Arabi bin Al-Alami, and the affairs of his protected sister, the bride to be married therein. The honorable letter of the trustees, Dar Bin Said, which is known for its likes, in the solid request for an answer from the jurist, the minister, may God protect him. You will also receive another honorable letter from Bin Said, fifty mithqals for the jurist. Mr. Muhammad Al-Shadli, about whom you also wrote to us. He greeted the people of the house with love and peace on the 5th of Rabi’ Al-Thani in the year 1316. Al-Abbas Al-Fasi, may God bless him.
