Notes Praise be to God alone, our master and the trustee of our master’s trustees, the most glorious earthly term, Sir Muhammad al-Tazi, may God protect you and peace be upon your sovereignty and may God have mercy on you with the presence of our master, may God support him. And after we have reached your dear letter, that the Muhtasib, Mr. Al-Mufaddal Al-Sarraj, mentioned that we did not pay it to those charged with the cows of the storehouse. May God bless him with the barn of Bab Al-Fatha, the fee for setting it aside and the price of the sweets for the high abode in God, the honorable Riyadh, the blessed night, and Ashura during the period of our service in Al-Sayer. Al-Saeed in Dar Adeel. Know, sir, may God protect you. The aforementioned muhtasib did not come to us during the aforementioned period of service, then with the reins of that and no matter to help him with what he mentioned. And for the sake of not what you mentioned, we prepare something of that for him in the warehouse. May God honor him during the aforementioned period of service, so that you may be my master in mind. May God protect you and take care of you. Peace be upon you. Muharram 13, 1323 Muhammad bin Abdul Qadir Bennis and Abdul Rahman, for the sweetness of God’s kindness to him.
