Praise be to God, the earthly lover, the kindest, the leader of my relief. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you, for the good of our Lord Al-Mansour, by God. After that, the residents of Al-Maghasiyin, one of the villages of Al-Zarahna, responded to us complaining with scourges and that they had accosted the master with plunder and abuse, so they scraped off what they scraped and took for them the sheep mentioned in the drawing with the hand of the bearer. We would love for you to end the matter for our Lord the Caliph, may God honor him, so that he may write to them to desist from them and return what they took to their masters, just as Musa said. They complain about their damage to their crops, and if the matter is not remedied, something that is not appropriate may arise between them. Our Lord, the Caliph, and praise be to God, has a hand at our back, for his power restrains the oppressor from the oppressed. God supports our Lord, and makes the kingdom follow him until the Day of Judgment, Amen. Love and peace be upon the calf of Idris al-Sarraj. Praise be to God, our beloved and earthly jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you. May God grant him victory. After we informed our Lord the Caliph. May God protect him for what I wrote about him and for the drawing referred to about him. He wrote, “His happiness lasted,” to a mujat worker. He wrote a rebuke, intimidation, and reproach for what they had committed. Mujat, in which he ordered him to restrain them and rebuke those who were tyrannical among them, and to return the sheep to the complainant. Tomorrow, God willing, the aforementioned letter will be addressed to the aforementioned worker. He directed the complainant tomorrow to go with the companion of our master, may God protect him, may God protect him with love and peace, and in history around him. May God reward me with high status.
