The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, that is enough (...) And then there have been many questions about the well-known hadith on people’s tongues that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, will not remain in his grave for a thousand years.
End of the manuscript: Naim narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, may God be pleased with them both, who said that the people of Andalusia will fight you (...) He said some of them interpreted this hadith as saying that this nation would last more than a thousand years (...) The transmitters agreed that the period of the Jews until the mission of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was definitely more than a thousand years, and this is based on something other than what we chose. This is the last thing we mentioned, and God knows best what is correct, and to Him is the reference and the return. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
