Notes	Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our master, the earthly jurist, Pasha al-Murtada, the servant of the highest station in God, my master Idris al-Sarraj. May God grant you success for us in what pleases him. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After our death, your letter accompanied your friend regarding the issue of the girl whose virginity was removed, so we understood what was meant by it, so you ordered the caravans who knew about women, so they looked at the girl and reported it. They put their effort into this, so they mentioned to us that this is very coming, in the presence of two just people, and the vision of my master is broader, for God establishes truth and invalidates falsehood. There is no power or strength except with God and peace. On the 24th of Rabi’ al-Thani 1279 Ham Belaid Al-Ammari, may God grant him success.
