The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions. Surah Al-Fatihah is Meccan.
End of manuscript: [Surat An-Nas] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind (...) from heaven and people. The Noble Qur’an was completed (...) by (...) Boubakr bin Saleh Al-Sajdali, then Al-Darsi, who lived in the country of Sraghina in the year 1295.

Notes: The copyist mentioned that he lives in the country of Sraghina (Sraghina is located within the Marrakesh-Tensift-Al Haouz region of Morocco). Some pages of the manuscript suffer from varying tears (from p. 118 to p. 175).
At the end of the manuscript, there is a description of the events and horrors of the Day of Resurrection. |
