The author states (p. 40) that he completed this restriction in the year 1324 AH/1906 AD, then he showed it to a group of scholars of his time, and he found something that confirmed its meaning and corrected its structure, so he revised it, added to it, and completed it in the year 1335 AH/1916 AD. Ibn al-Mahi al-Qaitouni (Dictionary of Moroccan Publications, p. 98) mentions that he has a copy on which the author wrote in his own handwriting, “and it was finished printing in the middle of Shaban in the year 1338 AH.”
