Praise be to God, our dear, earthly love, the guide to my relief. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. After that, the ar-Raghawi man who wrote to us regarding the stubbornness of the inhabitants of this city, His generosity, granted me permission to direct him to meet his complainant. Here we are, directing him, and upon love and peace, the 11th of Muharram in the year 1280. The dearest earthly Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and blessings be upon the best of our Lord, the Imam, may God grant him victory. And after that, the arrogant man whom I directed has arrived and we have charged his opponent to prove what he claims against him according to a legal law. Therefore, he has tasked the man whom I directed to give a legal guarantor to be obeyed when his opponent comes with what he hears from him. And may love and peace in history surround him and the summer of high standing, in God, my relief.
