The beginning of the manuscript: A book in which some [news] of Malaga’s jurists and writers were collected, the writing of which was begun by the accomplished jurist Muhammad bin Ali bin Khidr bin Harun al-Ghassani, the famous Ibn Askar, and it was completed by his sister’s son Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Khamis (...) among them Muhammad bin Umthail Al-Amili (...).
End of the manuscript: Among them was Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Balawi (...) and the aforementioned Abu Ali bin Khosrow, may God have mercy on them both, wrote to him (...) like a servant and a master, and he did not work in the manner until he circumambulated the Haram (...) may God have mercy on him on Tuesday after the noon prayer of the sixth of the holy month of Ramadan in the year four.
